I may be a little slow on the uptake, but Scott introduced me to a new website today. It's:

A music site that will play songs for you based on your musical preferences. It's really easy, and a fun way to discover new artists, which I love to do.
So, yay internet! You are so fun!

Good People

I would just like to post a shout-out to some people who will probably never read this, but should be acknowledged.
As we draw closer to being able to bring our daughter home, some unexpected red tape has popped up. There are (at least) three amazing women that are pulling together to make this all happen, and quickly! With interstate phone calls and faxes, and a few rearranged schedules, we might...MIGHT...have done all that we need to before the holidays!
It's a reminder to me, in this season of giving, faith and hope, that there are people out there that encompass and provide examples of all three.
May I always remember to do the same to others.

Moving Forward

Things are going well here. I find myself amazed at how quickly December is going. Scott and I have had word that our adoption is back on track, so we've got our home study tomorrow afternoon, and Scott has to get his fingerprints redone (his first set was smudged). Other than that, it's simply a matter of our letters of recommendation getting in, the social worker's write up, and the legal play out.
So we finally got to put together a crib! I posted pictures on our flickr page, but here's a peak...

Good news!! GREAT news!!! For those that have yet to hear, Mom has been diagnosed as cancer-free! We're so happy!
